Who it's for and when to use it

Use it when a learner has an interview coming up, often with only days to prepare. An accountant interviewing with a US company next Thursday needs focused practice on likely questions, not general English, and this form gives you what you need to plan it in one go.

The worried questions box is where the work starts. Learners name the questions that scare them, like "Tell me about yourself" or questions about gaps in their work history, and you can build practice answers around their real experience.

The resume upload is optional but useful: it lets you practice questions about the learner's own experience. For learners who also need to write a cover letter, the writing feedback request form handles drafts.

Tips for better responses

  • Start with "Tell me about yourself". It's asked in almost every interview. A polished two-minute answer is the best first lesson.
  • Practice in the real format. If the interview is on video, practice on video. If it's by phone, practice with cameras off.
  • Plan from the date. Count the lessons before the interview and plan backward. Leave the last session for a full mock interview.
  • Use the confidence rating. A low rating means start with structure and phrases; a high rating means focus on tough follow-up questions.

Make it your own

  • Not an English learner? Remove "in English" from the confidence question and the form works for any interview coaching.
  • Career changers? Add a question about the previous job and why they're changing careers.
  • Wider work English? Use the business English needs analysis for ongoing lessons.

Frequently asked questions

What should I ask before interview coaching?

Ask for the job title and company, the interview date and format, how confident the person feels, which questions worry them and their resume. Those answers let you plan practice around the real interview. This template asks all of them in nine questions.

Can learners upload a resume or CV?

Yes. There's an optional upload for one file, PDF or Word, so you can practice questions about the learner's own experience.

How many sessions do learners need before an interview?

It depends on the date and their confidence. Even one or two focused sessions help, and three or four allow for a full mock interview. The form's date question shows how much time you have.

Does the form work for interviews in other languages?

Yes. Change the confidence question to name the language, or remove the language part entirely for general interview coaching.

Do I need any technical skills to use this template?

No. You change questions by clicking on them, and you can drag them into a new order. There's no code to write. If you can fill in a form, you can edit this one, and publishing it is one button.

How do I share the form with families?

Share it as a link or put it on your website. The link works anywhere: email, text messages, WhatsApp, your Instagram bio or your Google Business Profile. To show it on your own site, paste two lines of embed code and the form appears on the page.

Where do responses go?

Every response lands in your Bear Forms dashboard, in a table you can read at a glance, and you get an email alert as soon as it arrives. You can also export all responses to a CSV file that opens in Excel or Google Sheets.
